These are the days of online ministry!

Online ministry is not new to me. In fact, I have been doing video ministry and discipleship for a long time as much of my investment has transitioned to athletes in Europe.  I am thankful for this season that has normalized online ministry but I do long for the days where I am meeting athletes again face to face.

Below is a screen shot of an average Zoom call where many athletes joined recently on a call. Schools up and down the west coast were able to join from UW in Seattle to Cal Berekely to UCLA that was the main host for the meeting. I am proud of how athletes from all over have rallied and said yes to connecting in a digital space in this season. I know that in time we will reap a great harvest!

Covid 19 and the soverignty of God toward London

Wow, what a time we are in right?! I am so thankful for this time yet so broken for the many losing lives through this virus. I pray daily for hope to come from the Lord. Myself and a few friends staying with me at the house here in LA are taking communion daily and worshipping and our eyes are on Jesus daily. Good news first before any of the other news....ammmiright? I do believe this virus is not of God but I do believe by his sovereignty is vast enough to use this is a way to bring families together, expand the reach of the church, and even pour out his generosity during my support.

I am blogging to share with you my journey toward AIA staff in Europe and seeing if you want to be apart of it financially. I am 67.5% of the way toward my goal. I have a monthly need left. All one-time is in! Praaaaaaise God.

Would you take a minute to pray today about coming on board at $50 or $100/mo or even another amount via Staff Account Transfer?  I am praying for my needs to be finished by March 31 (tomorrow!) as it's a date I feel God gave me even before Coronavirus. I have faith for tomorrow.

You would help the many American athletes who are not plugged in to spiritual community get plugged in.  It would be a tremendous gift from God to see you as a vital member in providing this "canopy of care" for these pro athletes in Europe that are like sheep without a shepherd.  When this virus is over can you imagine AIA is on the group in Europe to start answering all their spiritual questions? That's my hope. This virus ends, and European athletes wake up to the reality of loving Jesus first and have practical steps to walk this out.
