Machadodorp

We are picking up pace in to 2010. This week and next our staff team is taking a class through Campus Crusade called Bible Study Methods where we will learn to study scripture accurately to be able to teach others in large and small group settings effectively. After day 1 I know I am going to love this course. The teaching is done by two women and one of them is from Richmond, VA. We had a great chat about the "Old Dominion" today...God's gift of love for me is present even in the smallest of conversations!

As far as soccer ministry goes I am lining up some appointments with academy coaches and players over these next couple weeks so pray that these initial contacts are fruitful and beneficial.

Lately God has been speaking in to my heart. The word He gave me today was to 'flee mediocrity'. I need to press in to knowing more of my identity in Him and leaving all the mediocre things in my life behind. Its time I turn to Him in full submission and remember the days of my first love (Revelation 2:4). This is a pivotal time in my walk with Him...I can just feel it in my bones.

This past weekend some of my friends and i went camping in a cool place called Machadodorp in the province of Mpaumalunga. We hiked about 10 miles all together for the weekend over 2 days in some rain forest-like areas along with rolling hills that resembled scenes from Braveheart and Lord of Rings. Here are some pictures from the weekend...

Pressing on.
