Today the morning preach was canceled at the School of Excellence so I will just get back there another time. Sometimes the guys there that lead the boys just never return countless cell phone calls and so its hard at times to get a routine of investment there. Regardless of that today was great as I got some student athletes to our church and then took a couple more to the East Rand for Wayne's(Sundowns goalkeeper) birthday bash braai. We ate lots of great food and the couple University of Johannesburg guys I took were able to see Wayne, a professional, as a real man..as a dad...as a follower of Christ in his home. I hope they caught great vision of what a family should be like.
Tonight I was still honored to preach at Auckland Park Afrikaans Baptist Church for the 3rd time. Speaking out of Ezekiel 20 and 1 Cor 10 God really helped me to connect to a group of kids tonight that I really feel need to hear this message. I hope you enjoy the word and the humor of my talk. I could have and should have prepared better for this talk so I ask for your grace as you listen to me jump around the Bible ha.
I realized last night that the next weekend I am back in Joburg is the 17th of September. This weekend I am in Zimbabwe and the next 2 weekends after that I am in Cape Town. Its just crazy knowing the remaining time I have here in SA is quickly gettin snagged up with great things.
